Things To Do At La Borde Haute
If all you want to do is make the most of your private pool and golf range while hiding away from the world for a while, then La Borde Haute is for you. But if you want to explore what the Nouvelle Aquitane region and the South West of France has to offer, then La Borde Haute makes the perfect base for your adventures.
We had planned on taking excursions out to sightsee, however, we loved the cottage so much that we mainly stayed on site.
There are plenty of websites that list everything to do in Lot-et-Garonne, some of our favourites are the official Lot-et-Garonne tourism board, the Local Buzz magazine, France Voyage and of course the Michelin Guide, but we thought we'd highlight a few here.
Golf
One of the unique things about La Borde Haute is its private golf range. While staying as our guest you have free use of the range, which includes pitching nets, a green and even a bunker. Balls and clubs are provided, but you are of course welcome to use your own. Cycling
If being out and about is more your thing, we have three bicycles for you to use, two adult and one child bike. These are mountain bikes with handlebar shift gears and our guests are free to use them anytime. If you need more bikes there is a cycle hire shop in Clairac nearby. There are some great cycle paths along the beautiful Lot river and there's plenty of information on Freewheeling France.
